Green Vision
At MBO Partners, we are committed to ongoing change in our processes to align our ideals of sustainability with our strategic vision. MBO strives to be a leader in the greening of the workforce, and we invite you to join us!
We are excited to share our progress so far:
- All our major operations are now paperless. In just a few short years, we have reinvented our operations and transformed MBO from being a paper-intensive company to functioning fully in the digital realm. Even human resources paperwork is now digital to the extent allowable by law.
- We consolidate contractor management for large companies and government agencies; as we have gone paperless, so too have the processes supporting these organizations. Change is not limited to mitigating the impacts of our own operations. We hold a vision of sustainability that extends into the world, with our firm representing a powerful force for change.
- In our corporate office, we use only recycled content paper for day-to-day requirements. We continually audit our internal processes to ensure reductions in printing.
- We have implemented an office recycling program, cutting down waste and ensuring the materials we use will get used again.
- We send expired paper archives to a secure document destruction service, which shreds and recycles the paper.
- We recycle or donate used equipment and furniture.
- We have virtually eliminated the bulk of the commute – and resultant carbon footprint -- typical for the workforce of most corporations our size. The majority of our employees and Associates work either from home or from an office location close to home. The reduction of greenhouse emissions resulting from this policy is incalculable.
