My expertise is providing Database design, implementation and tuning for large databases (sizing 500G - 150TB) using IBM DB2 UDB Database in UNIX environments. Having worked as a warehouse architect, I also have expertise in Extraction Transformation & Loading (ETL) design tool like Informatica.

I am certified IBM DB2 UDB DBA and an Informatica Designer, Administrator and Consultant having 9 years experience in full software development life cycle and DB administration.

With an experience of handling huge data (>5 TB) on multi-CPU machines (p690 16-way 32G RAM, p595 32-way 512G RAM SMP & MPP configuration), I deliver a pool of knowledge that helps my clients effectively utilize their available machine resources. A combination of ETL and database specialist that I bring with me evolves as an explosive mix to the projects, boosting its throughput.

Working calmly in periods of stress also adds another plus to my profile. While handling multiple huge production databases at the same time, it's but obvious that things keep breaking as they go. I usually multi-task in these scenarios fixing issues as soon as possible.
