[No photo available] My expertise is providing data system solutions that are right-sized for the client company according to hardware and software licensing constraints. I have deep experience with Oracle that I have leveraged into MySQL, crossing into the open-source database space. With experience with Oracle running on Linux, powerful database development can be available to small through large sized companies. It is with this power, and the assessment of the true data needs of my clients, that I am able to bring the greatest value to my clients while increasing the staff understanding.

I have studied and used the Ralph Kimball methodology for developing data warehouses. I follow the Jonathan Lewis process for identifying database performance bottlenecks. With these 2 foundations, I am able to bring modern, large-scale development concepts to clients and projects of all sizes.

Beyond the technology, my clients find me approachable, confident, experienced and creative. They find me able to listen, assess, and make creative recommendations that fully respond to their business and technology requirements. As a direct result of this responsiveness, many of my clients have become recurring relationships with new projects following old as product lines and business needs change over time. My clients have included large e-commerce, and telecomm as well as small businesses.

My core areas of expertise are:
- data anomoly research
- business process and data modeling
- data system development (both relational and star schema)
- report development
