- Network Infrastructure Upgrades - Increasing networking demands of organizations often outpace the ability of their networks to deliver required application throughput, latency, and availability in a consistent manner. When this is the case, network redesigns and upgrades are often necessary. As a Cisco CCDP and CCNP, and a Microsoft MCSE, I bring structured network architectural design knowledge and extensive operational experience to projects in assisting with these redesign and upgrade activities.

Although this phenomenon occurs most often on WANs, it can appear on LANs as well. Uncovering the root cause of this problem generally requires protocol and application traffic analysis. Once the cause or causes are uncovered, various quality of service and WAN optimization configuration techniques can be applied. With a strong background in protocol and application traffic analysis as well as quality of service and WAN optimization techniques, I can readily assist with these types of application troubleshooting and optimization engagements.

- Network Training Delivery - Customized training is available on a wide range of networking topics, including fundamentals of TCP/IP, beginning and intermediate Cisco routing and switching, fundamentals of voice data networking, 802.11 wireless technologies, and Microsoft Windows Server installation, configuration, and administration. With six years experience teaching full-time in universities and considerable experience as a technology trainer delivering courses on Microsoft and Cisco solutions, I bring a depth of resources to the classroom from both the teaching and technology perspective.
