MBO Partners Signs On as Top Sponsor of Human Capital Institute's First-Ever Talent Management Forum for Government

Washington, D.C. - August 28, 2008 - The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a professional association and think tank advancing the science of strategic talent management, and MBO Partners, the leading provider of business solutions for independent consultants and their clients, announced today that MBO is a top sponsor of HCI's first-ever Talent Management Forum for Government, a leadership event for government human capital and personnel leaders and their teams.

MBO is supporting and participating in the HCI event, created exclusively for federal organizations, which will be held in Washington, D.C. on Weds., Sept. 17, 2008.

"MBO serves a number of diverse communities, including but not limited to government agencies. Their business focus and experience helping agencies efficiently engage consultants, independent contractors, freelancers and small businesses brings a unique perspective to HCI's Talent Management Forum for Government," said Allen Zeman, President of HCI Government Solutions. "We are grateful for their support and involvement in this event."

The forum, to be held at Gaylord National Resort Hotel and Convention Center in Prince George's County, Md. on the Potomac River, will bring together human capital professionals who are transforming talent management in their government organizations for a full day of learning and networking, followed by a high-impact, post-forum networking reception. Participants will attend keynote presentations and 90-minute learning sessions that include real-world case studies, practical knowledge and effective strategies.

Keynote speakers at the event include Paul Light, NYU Professor of Public Policy, and Congressman James Moran, 8th Congressional District of Virginia.

MBO Partners will present a special session titled, "Contract Talent: Effective Talent Management in a Workforce Dominated by Contractors Today and Millennials Tomorrow." Moderated by HCI's Allan Schweyer, Executive Director and SVP Research, scheduled presenters and panelists include John M. Palguta, Vice President for Policy at the Partnership for Public Service; Gene Zaino, President and CEO of MBO Partners; and Jim Blades, Deputy Director, Contracts and Grants Management for the Millennium Challenge Corporation.

"While MBO is proud to offer contract talent solutions to government agencies, moreover we're excited to support a dialogue exploring innovative models for the way the federal government approaches and engages the rapidly growing contract-based workforce," said Zaino.

HCI's 2008 Talent Management Forum for Government presents an ideal professional development opportunity for Chief Human Capital and Personnel Officers, Directors of HR and Human Capital, Directors of Personnel and Training, Procurement and Purchasing Officers, and HR and Program Managers and Analysts.

All-inclusive event registration is $199. For more information on the 2008 Talent Management Forum for Government, or to register for the forum, visit www.humancapitalinstitute.org or call HCI Member Services at 866.538.1909.
