I see myself first and foremost as a change-architect, using my background in strategy, governance and program management and my expertise in change frameworks, to help clients get the results they need
“Let’s build for success.” Beth Hughes helps nonprofit, mission-driven and social enterprises, as well as for-profit clients, drive positive change, turning problems into opportunities. She’s known as a change architect, designing and building successful frameworks from the ground up to meet emerging challenges.
A versatile leader in strategy, financial soundness, governance and complex program management, Beth’s background is diverse. She’s been a lender, technology leader, risk manager and governance executive in three of the world’s largest financial institutions, and a strategic and financial leader for nonprofits in health care, mental health, children’s services, advocacy, and underserved communities.
Beth’s record of success relies on innovation, collaboration, a strategic view, strong program management, flexibility, and effective communication. She’s acclaimed as a skilled coach and manager, including long experience leading virtual/remote teams.
Beth earned her bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies at Harvard and her MBA from Stanford. However, she believes it’s not the fame of the institution but the character of the person that drives success.
