Shel is an experienced IT PMO (Project Management Office) consultant with expertise in implementing PMO Governance/Methodologies and in leading client teams to higher levels of project delivery including PMO (Project Management Offices), project portfolio management, IT Governance, methodologies, toolkits, training, mentoring, coaching, assessments, and quality reviews. His experience includes implementing a PM methodology approach (hybrid of Waterfall and Agile) – iterative methodology - on projects/programs that help end-users successfully adapt to new products and processes and successfully accept change.
Shel has held roles of increasing responsibility as an individual contributor, consultant, manager in project management leadership, and business process consulting. He also has many years of very successful program and project and management, which relates to Application Development, BI Implementations, Project Controls systems, Government & Infrastructure (G&I) projects, Legal systems, Corporate & HRIS systems, M&A (Separation/Integration) projects, Network integration, Infrastructure upgrades, business solutions, and other areas. The majority of Shel's projects have been international in scope.
Shel has worked on multiple ERP implementation projects (Oracle EBS or SAP) as PMO Manager and has been responsible for overall Governance, program budget, and program schedule, and managed programs related to complex Legal Entity consolidation projects. He has also managed projects/programs for Mergers & Acquisitions and Divestiture with high proficiency in project financial reporting, issue analysis, and risk management. He is an expert with Microsoft Office Suite and other PC Applications.
He has been recognized for strategic thinking, technical expertise, implementation abilities, and innovation while handling tough assignments and providing quality results. Shel is very well versed in various IT applications that reside in multiple business domains and in understanding business processes and requirements.
