North Highland and MBO Partners: Engaging affiliates safely and efficiently

01 Introduction

North Highland uses MBO Partners as its engagement services provider for affiliates. MBO ensures proper legal classification for North Highland-referred affiliates, onboards them, offers benefits to those who are eligible, pays them on North Highland's behalf, and provides day-to-day support.

02 Affiliate engagement process

Use this form to submit new sourcing requests. Make sure to obtain approval before submitting the form.

If you have a pre-identified candidate, please connect with Elyse Brannick at Elyse.Brannick@northhighland.com who will route the request to MBO.

03 Ongoing administration

You'll execute your approval in the WorkDay system each time an affiliate engaged on your projects submits time and/or expenses.

Please be sure to approve all submissions by COB on Tuesday each week. Failure to meet this deadline may delay payments.

For workers who bill by the milestone, approvals will occur in the MBO system.

MBO Partners helps North Highland offer the most efficient and appealing engagement environment possible for its valued affiliates. MBO's flexible engagement services (below) ensure that North Highland can manage affiliate relationships efficiently while staying compliant with affiliate-related regulations. MBO also provides affiliates the highest level of advocacy and support throughout their North Highland assignments.

05 MBO's engagement services

MBO directs North Highland-referred affiliates into one of three engagement services depending on their characteristics, expectations, and business qualifications:

Vendor Services, a business-to-business engagement service for affiliates who meet North Highland's criteria to engage as qualified vendors. Candidates must meet these criteria and pass a qualification evaluation.
Business Services, a unique engagement alternative for affiliates who wish to work as compliant independent business owners (LLCs or corporations) but need assistance meeting and maintaining the appropriate credentials to do so. Affiliates engaged through Business Services enjoy the freedom and flexibility of operating an independent business at less cost and with less administration than doing it alone.
Payroll Services, a conventional W-2 payrolling solution for hourly affiliates who do not consider themselves (or qualify to operate as) true independent business practitioners.
