    01 Introduction

CFGI has partnered with MBO to help build out its flexible workforce capability. More specifically, CFGI leverages MBO‘s Independent Talent Network (ITN) as a way to access proven consultants from a referral-based community of 130,000 who have already supported CFGI’s competitors and peers — faster, at lower cost, and with better outcomes than traditional staffing suppliers.

The overarching objective of partnering with MBO is to help CFGI replicate the direct sourcing capability of larger professional services firms, without the investment of time and resources typically required to build out that capability.

02 Independent Talent Network (ITN) Sourcing Process

CFGI's dedicated ITN Engagement Manager will work with you to attract and hire from the pool of 130,000+ Talent inside of MBO's marketplace. This Big 4 and enterprise-proven Talent exists across 18 skill domains and over 112 specialties, particularly in client-facing consulting roles.

    Steps:

    1. Review the below to ensure your project is ready for ITN support:itn contact
    2. Once confirmed, click here to email CFGI’s engagement manager with basic information and availability to talk further.
    3. ITN will then schedule a brief call to finalize the details of the role outlined in your email.
    4. ITN begins the process of recruiting, screening, and submitting vetted Talent for your review.
    5. You simply select and interview the enterprise candidates which best match your needs
    6. MBO ushers your selected candidate through onboarding, no effort from you!
    03 CFGI-Identified Talent Engagement Process

For a reduced fee, MBO can also engage contractors which CFGI identifies on their own. If you have a pre-identified contractor for a project, simply use this referral form to kick off the MBO onboarding process. Alternative, please contact us to learn more about the cost and process efficiencies gained from engaging contractors in this way.

    04 Onboarding and Ongoing Administration

Once talent is identified, MBO directs contractors into one of three engagement services depending on their characteristics, expectations, and business qualifications:

    • Vendor Services, a business-to-business engagement service for independent professionals who meet CFGI's criteria to engage as qualified vendors. Candidates must meet these criteria and pass a qualification evaluation.
    • Business Services, a unique engagement alternative for independent professionals who wish to work as compliant independent business owners (LLCs or corporations) but need assistance meeting and maintaining the appropriate credentials to do so.
    • Payroll Services, a conventional W-2 payrolling solution who do not consider themselves (or qualify to operate as) true independent business practitioners.

Once fully onboarded, your engaged worker(s) will submit their time, milestones and/or expenses for your approval via the CFGI required systems.

Please be sure to approve all submissions by 12:00 p.m. CT each Monday. Failure to meet this deadline may delay payments.
