Audra Nichols

Audra Nichols joined MBO in January 2022 as the Chief Operating Officer. She is responsible for all talent and client-facing services for MBO's portfolio of independent contractors and enterprise clients, along with the operational excellence functions for the organization.

Most recently, Nichols served as Executive Vice President for UnitedLex. Here, she was responsible for shaping the legal services transformation business for growth, scale, and profitability through operational excellence and developing the firm’s legal solutions to realize optimal client impact.

A PwC and Arthur Anderson LLP alum, Nichols has 25 years of professional services experience leading large-scale transformational change efforts, building high-performing teams, and leading operations through innovative practices to realize long-term impact. She is a proven senior leader dedicated to achieving measurable business results for growth and market differentiation in the US and globally. Nichols masterfully does the crosswalk from strategy development to operational execution. Throughout her career she has been selected to solve the most pressing business issues and stand-up strategic business functions to drive growth and sustainable business results. A sought-after and experienced champion of working cross-culturally, in every role she brings the ability to influence behavior change, gain alignment, and realize financial outcomes.

Additionally, Nichols is a member of Consulting Magazine’s board of directors and is active in the women’s executive network CHIEF. She has also served as a founding member and chairperson of The Conference Board's Globalization Leadership Council, was on TCB’s Advancing Women in Leadership Council, and has been a recognized public speaker on global strategic sourcing, global delivery, and leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Corporate & Organizational Communications from Ithaca College, where she attended the Ithaca College London Centre.
