About Jonathan
Jonathan Shaffner joined MBO Partners in 2023 as Director of Federal Business Development.
He recently retired as a Colonel from the US Army after 25 years of service. He served as an aviator flying the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior and AH-64D Apache helicopter. He was deployed 6 times for more than 5 years to Iraq and Afghanistan where he led organizations of dozens to thousands of soldiers in challenging environments and austere conditions. His efforts in the military had national and global implications.
He has an MBA from Northeastern University, two masters in military and strategic studies from the Army and Marine Corps, and completed his undergraduate degree at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
