• Speaking of Uber drivers – Seattle has proposed a rather audacious bill that would let Uber and Lift drivers unionize. Both Uber and Lyft oppose this bill, some say it violates federal law, but it’s an interesting debate, nevertheless.

• This week, we lunched our marketplace, a new private talent network for directly sourcing independent workers safely and easily. The product, currently in its pilot state, will launch to a wider IC audience early next year. SpendMatters took a deeper dive into what the product will offer.
