We know you’re short on time, so we’ve kept this brief:

  • Just how does your Uber driver get health insurance? This fascinating piece from NPR examines how contractors in the gig economy are using new and innovative ways to get access to healthcare.
  • Speaking of Uber drivers – Seattle has proposed a rather audacious bill that would let Uber and Lift drivers unionize. Both Uber and Lyft oppose this bill, some say it violates federal law, but it’s an interesting debate, nevertheless.
  • These are ways 11 highly productive people – from Oprah to Aziz Ansari to one of Google’s top executives – stay on top of their game every day.
  • This week, we lunched our marketplace, a new private talent network for directly sourcing independent workers safely and easily. The product, currently in its pilot state, will launch to a wider IC audience early next year. SpendMatters took a deeper dive into what the product will offer.

Should you have any questions, we’re always here for you. And if you’re visiting CWS North America this week, we’re in Booth 37 – stop by and say hi!

Of course, we’d love to talk virtually as well. Share your thoughts with us at MBO Partners on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, and we’ll see you next week!
